VFW Member Dispatch
February 2020

Elected officials sometimes forget the great sacrifices that come along with serving our country and the promises our nation makes to those veterans in return. That’s why in a few short weeks, VFW members from across the nation will take the voice of all veterans to Capitol Hill March 1-5, during our annual VFW Legislative Conference.

Armed with the VFW’s Priority Goals for 2020, they’ll remind congressional leaders that sequestration must end, and veterans' benefits should NEVER be on the chopping block! And on March 4, VFW National Commander William “Doc” Schmitz will deliver testimony before the House and Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committees.

Be part of the conversation with #VFWDC2020 on social media, and be sure to check vfw.org/VFWDC2020 regularly for all the latest legislative conference news beginning March 2 with the livestream of the Voice of Democracy Parade of Winners.

Respectfully,

Your VFW Membership Team
