VFW Checkpoint
September/October 2020

Your Checkpoint newsletter has arrived!

We invite you to take this opportunity to see what other Posts around the world are doing to better their communities. Be sure to share the valuable information you get here with your fellow VFW members. In San Antonio, one Post built a cybercafé to attract a new generation of veterans. During a visit to Louisiana, VFW Commander-in-Chief Hal Roesch presented two life-saving awards to deputies in St. Charles Parish. Post 3090 in Philadelphia was honored by the National Guard for its efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, check out the first column by the 2020-2021 VFW National Chaplain.

Be sure to let us know what you are doing in your community. We always are looking to promote the great efforts of VFW. Email jdyhouse@vfw.org your suggestion, and you just might see it in an upcoming issue of Checkpoint.
